Gantt FOP receives $5K grant

The South Alabama Fraternal Order of Police lodge in Gantt will get a facelift and some needed repairs with the help of a $5,000 state general fund community services grant.
The grant was announced earlier this week by Speaker of the House Seth Hammett and state Sen. Jimmy Holley.
“Our area law enforcement are dedicated to serving and protecting us and their FOP lodge is an important community asset,” Hammett said.
