Troy’s homecoming queen

Emily Evans, a senior biomedical science major from Florala, was crowned Homecoming Queen at Troy University during halftime ceremonies of the Trojans game against North Texas Saturday.

Evans is the daughter of Joey and Suane Evans of Florala.

Evans was a member of the TROY cheerleading squad and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 2008-2010. She is vice president for scholarship of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, treasurer of Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society and is a member of Tri Beta, Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega honor societies.
