Coach: We’re prepared to be underdogs

Published 11:55pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Coach Alan Catrett said he knows his Red Levels will be the underdog against Barbour County in the regional finals Friday, but they’re not going to back down.

“That’s why we played the regular season schedule the way we did,” he said, referring to the Tigers’ close game with Class 6A’s Enterprise. “Enterprise, the only 6A team that we played, is in the regional final.”

Catrett said he knows who the team is up against because of how Charles Henderson — whom the Tigers played against in the EHS Thanksgiving tournament — played against Barbour County.

“We’re glad to have this challenge coming up,” Catrett said.
