Lady Bulldogs fall in finals

BIRMINGHAM – The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs’ 28-game winning streak ended  here today when they fell 64-54 to Jacksonville in the  Class 4A state basketball championship.

Andalusia trailed 17-7 at the end of the first, and 36-23 at the half.

The outscored their opponents 17-12 in the third to tighten the score to 48-40 by the end of the third, but never made up the deficit.
