ALICE JACKSON BRASWELL

Alice Jackson Braswell, 90, died on March 30, 2012.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1921, and was reared in the Harmony Community before relocating to Florida.

A cremation service will be held on Sat., May 26, 2012, at Harmony Baptist Church at 11 a.m.

Family and friends welcome.

 

JOSEPH DANIEL HALL

Joseph Daniel Hall, 42, of Red Level, died May 18, 2012, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., May 26, at Old Loango Cemetery, on Cameron Road, with the Rev. Derwood Cleland officiating.

Family will visit friends at the cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Emily Danielle Hall, Joseph (Joey) Daniel Hall Jr., and Patrick Hall; mother, Nina Hall of Red Level; brothers and sister-in-laws, Dwight (Tracie) Hall of Montgomery and Troy (Stephanie) Hall of Loango; nieces, Brooke Hall, Arizona Hall, Amber Raines and Ashley Raines; nephews, Steven Griffen, Brian Griffen and Ricky Griffen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dixon Hall.

 

VIRGINIA ROGOWSKI

Virginia Rogowski, 72, formerly of Opp, passed away in Sap Choppy, Fla., near Tallahassee, Fla., on May 23, 2012.

Graveside services will be held on Fri., May 25, at 2 p.m., at Peaceful Acres in Opp with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service.

She is survived by her son, George Michael Rogowski; daughters, Pamela Purvis and Cindy Dulap; brother, Billy Rathel; sisters, Glenda Newton, Voncile Grimes, Christine Brundick, Barbara Mangelinkx, Olivia Folmart and Jennifer Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Taylor; her son, Robert Rogowski Jr.; and her sister, Juanita Moore.

 

SARAH VONCILE COX

Sarah Voncile Cox, 90, of Red Level, died Tues., May 22, 2012, in the Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Wed., May 23, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Knowles officiating and interment following in New Home Cemetery near McKenzie.

Visitation will begin at noon at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Wilton and Pam Cox, Jack and Patsy Cox of Andalusia, and Patricia Cox of Red Level; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn Cox and Ronald Williamson of Andalusia; grandchildren, Rodney Cox, Traci Cox Wallace, Tony Cox, Jacob Cox, Danny Cox, Angie Cox, Joshua Williamson, Amanda Bradley, Janie Short and Jay Cox; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Evella and Marion Thompson, her husband, Ralph Cox, and son, Waylon Cox.
