Andy 11U All-Stars state bound

Andalusia’s 11-and-under All-Stars will travel to play in the 2012 Cal Ripken 11 and 12U State Tournament July 7-9 in Demopolis.

The All-Stars — B.J. Anderson, Noah Allison, Jacob Barefoot, Will Black, Will Clark, Garrett Davis, Grant Holley, J.W. Jones, Noah Kelly, Thomas Phillips, Sebaskin Stallworth and Branston Wallace — will compete in pool play with two other teams in Demopolis and Semmes on Saturday, and then will transition to bracket play on Sunday.

The championship game is slated for 12:45 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Andalusia will face Demopolis at 9 a.m., and then will play Semmes at 1:15 p.m. at the Demopolis Sportsplex.
