Andalusia’s swim team will jump into unfamiliar waters once again at the Alabama Parks and Recreation district meet in Dothan today.

The Stingrays will join other swim teams in their district to try and qualify for the state meet in Opelika. The state meet is from July 26-28.

In its last meet, the ASL brought home 29 first place finishes and 38 personal best times in Eufaula.

“The results speak to the success that they had at the Eufaula meet,” Stingrays coach Gavin Donaldson said. “This is a great group of young people that are striving for excellence.”
