Mr. and Mrs. William Gordon Strong Jr. of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Deeanna Rhea, to Joseph Randall Sutton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Sutton of Eton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Raymond Wooten Jr. of Taylorsville, Miss., and the late Elizabeth Ann “Dee” Gentry Wooten, as well as Mr. William Gordon Strong Sr. and the late Janet Sheffield Strong of Collierville, Tenn.

She is a graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2011 graduate of Troy University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Roy Hubert Sutton and the late Ruby Grace Sutton of Elamville, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Elmo B. Busby of Columbia, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayne Abercrombie of Blairsville, Ga.

He is a graduate of Ariton High School and a 2012 graduate of Wallace Community College, where he earned an associates of science degree in radiology. He is employed at Flowers Hospital in Dothan as a radiologic technologist.

The couple will wed on July 28, 2012, at the First Baptist Church Chapel. Invitations will be sent.
