Opp abates Dry Street residence

Cleanup was once again on the table for the Opp City Council Monday night.
The council voted to abate the property at 305 Dry Street, which is in District 2.
“(Building inspector) Don (Childre) looked it and it is in need of serious repair,” Mayor H.D. Edgar said.
Childre agreed.
“It’s in bad shape,” he said. “The siding is off, and the front porch is coming off.”
