ROBERT GLEN ANDERSON

Robert Glen Anderson, 84, of Andalusia, died Tues., Sept. 18, 2012, at his residence.

He was the retired manager of his family’s business, Anderson Peanuts, which was started by his father in 1933 and later became part of Alabama Farmer’s Coop. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Andalusia and the Baracca Sunday school class.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., today, Thurs., Sept. 20, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Fred Karthuas officiating and burial following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah P. Anderson of Andalusia; his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jo Ann Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mark and Judy Anderson of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Marcus, Jacob and Sarah Anderson; a sister and brother-in-law, Corrie Mae and John Owens of Andalusia; brother and sister-in-law, John and Evelyn Anderson of Destin, Fla.,; sister-in-law, Helen Anderson of Opp; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Anderson, Murray Anderson, Robert Anderson, John Anderson Jr., Patrick Paige and Greg Smith.
