Johnson records 4 tackles Saturday

Alabama senior linebacker Nico Johnson recorded four tackles in the Crimson Tide’s 33-14 home win over Ole Miss on Saturday.

The Andalusia native had two solo and two assists in the game, where the Crimson Tide exploded by scoring 21 unanswered points in the first half to take a big lead at half time.

Huntingdon quarterback Ryne Taylor was 2-of-5 for 34 yards in the Hawks’ 42-21 victory over Ave Maria.

Alabama (5-0, 2-0) is off this week and will travel to face Missouri in Columbia, Mo., next week to continue in SEC play.

Huntingdon (4-1) travels to Millsaps College this week.

Troy’s Brannon Bryan had four assists in the Trojans’ 31-10 win over South Alabama.
