Tisdale sues Wilson

Published 12:00am Thursday, October 4, 2012

John Tisdale Jr. has filed a lawsuit against former mayoral candidate Blaine Wilson in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama seeking compensatory and punitive damages for harm/damages he claims he suffered as a result of “unsubstantiated, false and maliciously-made defamatory comments” made by Wilson.

The suit quotes statements made by Wilson during his campaign about Tisdale and a real estate transaction between Tisdale and the City of Andalusia.

Tisdale is seeking $75,000 plus punitive damages and requested a jury trial.
