Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments Oct. 8, 2012:

• Mealinda Bess, 20, for minor in consumption and held on a $500 bond.

• Sandy L. Tice, 43, for violation of probation and held without bond.

• Earnest M. Scott, 36, for two counts of violation of probation and held without bond.

• Shawna N. Wright, 22, for failure to appear and held on a $1,035 bond.

In the Fri., Oct. 5, edition, it was reported that Clinton Allen Watson, 43, was arrested on possession of illegal drug charges. This is not the Joseph Allen Watson, 39, who is employed at Pleasant Home School and is a Libertyville resident.
