MAX BROOKS

Max Brooks, 89, of Andalusia, died Mon., Oct. 8, 2012, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., Oct. 12, at the Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating and burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Marcus Godwin of Andalusia and Diane and John Richardson of Dade City, Fla.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Brooks of Alabaster and Doyle and Jackie Brooks of Pensacola, Fla.; her grandchildren, Karen Flynn, Brian Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Sharon Hatton, John Wesley Richardson and Shelby Lee Brooks; and his great-grandchildren, Casey Brooks, Jackson Brooks, Finley Grace Brooks, Cailyn Flynn, Sean Flynn, Whitney Brooks, Ashley Hines and Joey Hatton.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Hopewell Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Hopewell Men’s Sunday school class.
