Geneva County trounces Red Level

Geneva County was just “physically” better than Red Level on Friday night as the Bulldogs went on to beat the winless Tigers 41-6.

“They just outplayed us in every which way,” RLS coach Tony Ingram said. “We couldn’t do much offensively.”

Ingram said the players played “hard,” like they do every week.

“We’re just out manned right now,” he said.

Ingram said there are 20 players on the squad right now and he’s had to pull up some junior varsity kids.

The head coach has also gone through some health issues.

Ingram said he had tests performed a week ago and will go to a cardiologist on Monday.

“They’re going to let me know what’s going on,” he said.

Ingram has had to remove himself from standing on the sidelines in recent weeks.

The Tigers will have another tough contest next week as they visit Brantley.
