Mr. and Mrs. Laymon Myres Yelverton of Linden are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lee Ann, to Mr. Jay Patrick Bryant of Nashville, Tenn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Elwood Bryant of Tuscaloosa.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Warren Scott of Linden, Mrs. Margaret Yelverton

Johnson of Selma and the late Mr. Laymon Myres Yelverton Sr.

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Theodore Rutherford Pouncey of Montgomery, the late Mr. Theodore Rutherford Pouncey, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edward Bryant of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Alabama, earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master’s degree in marketing. She was a member of Kappa Delta social sorority. She is employed with HealthStream, Inc., in Nashville, Tenn., as an associate product manager.

The prospective groom is a graduate of the University of Alabama, earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He will graduate from Belmont University with a master’s degree in business administration. He is employed with Mars Company in Nashville, Tenn., as a senior analyst.

The wedding ceremony will be held at 5 in the evening on Sat., Dec. 8, 2012, at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville, Tenn.
