Andalusia’s tinymites didn’t have any quit in them all season, and they weren’t about to give up on Saturday.

The tinymites beat Greenville 20-6 to win the Tri-County Super Bowl and finish a perfect season at Andalusia Municipal Stadium.

“Greenville was a really good team,” Andalusia tinymites coach M.J. Faulkner said. “Our boys had to fight and play hard. Our team this year had no quit in them.

“I’m very proud of them and all the hard work they put in this season,” he said.

Andalusia got on the board first and took a 13-0 halftime lead.

Greenville added one touchdown in the third quarter to cut the game to seven points.

The local tinymites put the game out of reach at the start of the fourth quarter with another touchdown.

“It was a very good game against a very good team,” Faulkner said.

In termite action, East Brewton defeated Andalusia 23-13; and Evergreen beat Crestview, Fla., 25-20 in peewee play.
