Red Level band director resigns

Red Level will soon be searching for a new band director.

Covington County school board members accepted Howell Jack Hall’a resignation, which is effective Dec. 31.

Other personnel issues handled at Tuesday’s meeting included:

• the employment of Tracie Potter as lunchroom manager at W.S. Harlan; and,

• granting leave to Ruth Ann Freeney, Straughn lunchroom worker, for November and December under the Family Medical Leave Act.
