T he sun shone brightly for the many sacrifices made by area veterans as those in Covington County were honored Monday in Andalusia.

Following the annual parade, Probate Judge Ben Bowden, who is also a colonel in the U.S. Air Force and is the senior reserve judge advocate attached to the office of the Staff Judge Advocate headquartered at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, was the featured speaker.
