Some 30 students participate in the after-school program at Pleasant Home School, and there’s always room for more.

Teacher Chris Caldwell said the program, which is offered through a 21st Century Learning Grant, is in its third year and provides daycare and a snack for $10 per week, per child. Caldwell said students participate in a variety of enrichment activities such as art, health classes, archery, and of course, homework assistance.

Parents of students in kindergarten through eighth grade interested in the program should call the school at 222-1315 for more information.
