Booker T’s speed too much for Wildcats

Booker T. Washington’s speed was too much for Florala tonight as the Wildcats fell 75-56 in their final game of the Georgiana tournament.

Tamaris Jamison, Austin McNeill and John Bess finished in double figures for the Wildcats.

Jamison led with 20 points, McNeill added 12 and Bess chipped in 10 points.

“We just started out too slow for what we were playing,” FHS coach Daniel Allison said. “Booker T. Washington (a Class 4A school) had some very good quick guards. They had three guys with 20 or more points. We just could not match up with thier speed.”

Florala will be back in action on Tuesday at Georgiana.
