SHERRY LEE BARFOOT

Sherry Lee Barfoot, 70, of the Babbie Community, passed away Thurs., Dec. 20, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sun., Dec. 23, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. Special music will be provided by Rebecca Joiner and Elaine Mullins, and burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 6 to 8.

Survivors include her son and his fiancée, Donald Wayne “Duck” Barfoot and Ramona Hutcheson; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Earl and Helen Lawson, Robert Lawson, John and Jeretha Lawson, all of the Babbie Community, Lamar Lawson of Loango and Ricky and Tammy Lawson of Jack; and one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Terry Neal of the Antioch Community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Barfoot; a brother, Donald Wilson Lawson; and her parents, Edlow and Lois Lawson.

The Sanford Volunteer Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
