Today is the start of the New Year and countless resolutions.

When asked, a few Star-News Facebook friends shared their goals for 2013.

Hubert McCann said his resolution was is not to have one.

Michael Bishop said, “To make it through my 10 months in Cuba without losing rank, money or my mind.”

Elizabeth Hughes has an equally important goal.

“To deliver a beautiful, happy, and healthy little boy within the next nine weeks,” she said of her start to 2013.

Angie Theus said, “I am going to try to buy ‘Made In the USA’ only! I know this will be difficult, but I am going to look before buying this year.”

Margaret Gilmore Feeley has one – albeit important – goal. “Keep my mouth shut,” she said.
