Opp man jailed for giving teen fake dope

An Opp man was arrested recently for allegedly distributing synthetic marijuana to a 17-year-old boy in Houston County, The Dothan Eagle reported.

Gary Gene Calhoun, 43, was arrested and charges with felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance and felony drug distribution to a minor.

Reports indicate the incident took place on Dec. 6, 2012.

Calhoun was taken to the Houston County jail, where he was held on at $5,000 bond.
