BETTY FAYE JERNIGAN CAMMACK

Betty Faye Jernigan Cammack, 86, a longtime resident of Andalusia, died Jan. 15, 2013.

A time of visitation is planned for 10 a.m., Sat., Jan. 19, at Foreman Funeral Home. Funeral services, conducted by Brother Billy Boles, will follow in the chapel at 11:30 a.m., and interment will be in Stone Lake Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Cammack attended Troy University, completed Perry Business School and loved being a substitute teacher for several years in the Andalusia City School System. A resident of Savannah Terrace, she was honored to be named the first queen, “Ms. Savannah Terrace,” in 2011. She cherished her family and loved working in her flower garden.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Hybart Cammack Sr.; her parents, Walter Wilson and Myrtle Lewis Jernigan; her brother, Charles Wilson Jernigan, and niece, Robin Parham Park.

She is survived by her sons, Walter C. Cammack (Susan) of Andalusia, William V. Cammack (Sue) of Panama City, Fla., and Jack Blackmon Jr., of Ozark; daughters, Carol Cope (Tony) of Auburn and Diane Weant (Ferrell) of Dozier; grandchildren, Michelle Jackson (Eric), Jennifer Bradley (Tony), Lindsey Reeves (Joey), Will Cammack, Blake Cammack, Preston Cope, Ella Grace Cope and Cole Weant; great-grandchildren, John and Payton Jackson, Marion, Eli, Jude and Luke Bradley, and Ocean Reeves; her sister, Sharon Parham (John) of Andalusia; a step-grandson, Brian Pope (Stephanie); step-great-grandchildren, Piper and Preslee Pope; and nieces, Kimberly Payne (Rick) and Whitney Olson (John).

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and sons-in-law.

Remembrances may be made to the Robin Parham Park Memorial Scholarship Fund at Cadence Bank of Andalusia, 1135 Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway, Andalusia, AL 36420, or Comfort Care Hospice.

BELINDA MOYE

Belinda Moye, 43, of Andalusia, died unexpectedly at her residence on Wed., Jan. 16, 2013.

Funeral services will be held on Sat., Jan. 19, at 11 a.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Survivors include her companion, Gerome Stanley of Andalusia; father, Tony Moye of Texas; stepfather, Tony Scott of Andalusia; sisters, Linda Delatte of Louisiana and Margaret (Coston) Harris of Andalusia; nieces and Nephews, John Halford, Charles Harris, Jessie Byrd, Jeffery Byrd, Brittany Harris, Christopher Perkins, Gavin Delatte, Jordon Delatte and Lonnie Harris; two great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey Barton and Casen Heath

VIRGIL EUGENE PAYNE

Virgil Eugene Payne, 73, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Jan. 13, 2013 at his residence.

Memorial services will held be at 7 p.m. Tues., Jan. 22, at the River Falls Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Douglass officiating the service. The family will meet with friends before and after the service at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Payne of Andalusia; his sons and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey Eugene Payne, John Allen and Stella Payne and Samuel Payne; his daughters, Dawn Marie Rosenberg, Tamela Sue Batson, Amy Joanne Payne and Amy Michele Payne; four grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Dwight Lemarr and Claudia Payne of Eaton Rapids, Mich.
