Opp won its 14th game of the season as the Lady Bobcats defeated Southside Selma 57-38 in area action on Tuesday night.

The Lady Bobcats were led by Laiken Free, who had 19 points. Saquaya Lane added 14 points and Nisha Stoudemire had nine points.

Southside’s Chelsea Arnold and Keyonna Likely had nine points each.

The Lady Bobcats improve to 14-3 overall, and 4-2 in Class 3A, Area 2.

In boys action, the Bobcats (2-15, 0-6) fell 69-27 in a rout.

Opp’s Manderious Mount led with eight points.

Southside’s JeVon Hall had 15 points and Willie Andrews had 11 points.

In B-team action, Southside Selma won 61-34.

Devontae Williams led OHS with 12 points and Maveric Ladson had 11 points.

Opp will host Elba on Friday.
