7 youth teams pick up wins this week

Seven youth basketball teams got wins during regular season action Monday and Tuesday nights at Johnson Park and Andalusia Middle School.

In 7-8 co-ed action, the 76ers beat the Bulls 29-16 and the Knicks beat the Timberwolves 26-13 at Johnson Park.

At AMS, the Cavs beat the Spurs 20-11 and the Bulldogs beat the Heat 25-23 in 9-10 boys action. In 11-12 boys action, the Raptors edged the Magic, 18-17.

The Bulls came back on Tuesday night and got a 13-11 win over the Celtics in 7-8 co-ed action at Johnson Park. In 9-12 girls, the Storm defeated the Comets 12-8.

The Spurs beat the Heat 35-27 in 9-10 boys action; the Hawks beat the Celtics 52-32 and the Raptors beat the Nuggets 38-30 in 11-12 boys actoin at AMS.

Youth basketball is back in action today at Johnson Park and AMS.

At Johnson Park, the Storm will play the Comets at 7:30 in 9-12 girls action; the Magic will play the 76ers at 6:30 in 7-8 co-ed action; Red will play Orange at 5:30 and Lime Green will play Blue at 6:30 in 5-6 co-ed action.

At AMS, the Cavs face the Bulls at 5:30 p.m. in 9-10 boys action, followed by the Nuggets-Hawks and Celtics-Magic in 11-12 boys action.

In Opp, the Lakers will play the Bulls and Thunder will play the Spurs in 9-10 action; and the Spurs will face the Thunder in 11-12 action.
