The Opp Cultural Arts Council is looking to expand its children’s art program.

The first project members would like to implement is an after school art class with Liz McDaniel Reid for second through fourth graders.

“We need some feedback as to how many students would be interested,” the organization said on its Facebook page. “We need a eight minimum and 12 maximum to have the class.”

The class will take place from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. once a week for a month.

Cost will be $100 for the four lesson and all supplies will be provided for the students.

“Students will be introduced to several art activities, techniques, media and styles,” the post said.

To sign up, contact the organization via Facebook, stop by the OCAC or email Jan Breedlove at oppculturalarts@gmail.com.
