Hiram Smithart, 82, of Red Level, passed away on Tues., Feb. 5, 2013, at is residence.

Funeral services will be held, Thurs., Feb. 7, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frankie McVay officiating. Special music will be provided by Gary Holloway. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi Smithart of Red Level; children, Diane (Alfred) Estes of Orlando, Fla., Ron (Denise) Smithart of Red Level, Jimmy (Debbie) Smithart of Ransomville, N.Y., and Barbara (Gary) Holloway; brother, Kenneth Sweat; grandchildren, Mary Dees, Andrea and Randall Jordan, Joey and Erin Caldwell, Jennifer and Jamie Maikranz, Janelle and Billy Grace, Nicole Smithart, Casey Smithart, Brandy and Matt Owens, Jamie Lynn Smithart, Justin and Shonda Smithart and Cheyenne Smithart; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Caldwell, Patricia Birmingham, Olivia Birmingham, Ethan Jordan, Ethan Maikranz, Ronnie Smithart, Abby Smithart, Ashley Smithart, Cory Jordan, McKayla Maikranz, Aubrey Caldwell, Lexus Coon, Landen Caldwell and Alivia Owens, and Scarlett, Xander and Late Jaylen Shakespear.

Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Smithart, Justin Smithart, Billy Grace, Joey Caldwell, Tony Wells and Jamie Maikranz.

Donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice of Andalusia in his memory.
