OPL holds books salePublished 6:33pm Monday, February 11, 2013
The Opp Public Library’s annual book sale is under way.
“Come out and see the great selection we have from best sellers to westerns, non-fiction and loads of children’s books,” said Gayle Clare, library director. “The money goes to Friends of the Opp Public Library to supplement out state aid for purchasing books. Our funding has been cut every year since 2008, and we are operating on a very slim budget.”
Prices range from 25 cents to $2.
The sale will be ongoing this week from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The library is located between LBWCC’s MacArthur Campus and Opp Elementary School.
