JIMMY WAYNE BLANTON

Jimmy Wayne Blanton, 65, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Feb. 11, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Fri., Feb. 15, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foreman Funeral Home one hour prior to the services.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Blanton of Andalusia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Steven Prevett and Nancy and Jeremy Wilson, of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Peyton Prevett, Lane Prevett, Jack Wilson and Julianne Wilson; his sisters and brother-in-law, Alice and Wayne Kessenger of Charleston, S.C., and Pat Helms of Rock Hill, S.C.; and a brother and sister-in-law, William and Freida Blanton of Mobile.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Blanton.

Pallbearers will be Ward Taylor, Larry Avery, Joe Proctor, Mike Wells, Ron Embry and Lester O’Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Lane and Mark King.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the ALS Association of Alabama, P. O. Box 2888, Huntsville, AL 35804.

ETHEL GANTT SANSPREE

Ethel Gantt Sanspree, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Feb. 12, 2013, in Foley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Fri., Feb. 15, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Coldwater Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foreman Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Mark Hernes of Ruidosa, N.M., and Penny Lynn and Larry Bonner of Robertsdale; her grandchildren, Jeff Brannon, Shannon Burkett, April Davis and Stephanie Gardner; her great-grandchildren, Cody, Caleb and Olden Brannon, Conner and Liam Burkett, Wesley, Austin, Taylor and Kirsten Harrison, and Cheyenne and Sierra Davis; two brothers, Billy Gantt of Saraland and Phil Gantt Jr. of the Coldwater Community in Andalusia; three sisters, Loretta Gantt, Phyllis Pugh, both of Foley, and Joann Williams of Andalusia.

FRANCES L. DOUGLAS

Frances L. Douglas, 84, of Wing, passed away Tues., Feb. 12, 2013, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., today, Fri., Feb. 15, at the Bradley Assembly of God in Wing with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Betty Douglas of Georgia, Donnell Douglas of Opp, Ray and Betty Douglas of Jay, Fla., and Robert Douglas of Wing; her daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Wayne Miller of Pensacola, Fla., Carolyn and Ronald Coburn of Wing and Patricia and Gray Day of Red Level; her sisters, Edna Bryce of Georgia, Louise Barnes of Crestview, Fla., and Jean Pope of Texas; her brothers, Alex Pope and Rueben Pope of Mississippi; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

JAY SANDERS

Jay Sanders, 80, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Feb. 13, 2013, in Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Sun., Feb. 17, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends on Sat., Feb. 16, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sanders of Andalusia; his son, Joseph Sanders of Hope Hull; his daughter, Julie (Mark) Mai of Destin, Fla.; brother, Dick Sanders of Columbus, Ga.; and grandchildren, Justin Tisdale and Matlin Mai.
