Andalusia’s boys and girls tennis teams split in tennis action to Northview of Dothan on Thursday.

The Bulldogs started their season a bit earlier than projected because of a future band trip date that wouldn’t have worked out for NHS.

The AHS boys won 5-4, while the girls lost 7-2.

“We started off slow,” AHS boys coach Perry Dillard said. “We clinched the match with No. 2 and 3 doubles winning big.”

Andalusia is back in action on Thursday at Auburn.
