HARRY LAVON ECHOLS

Harry Lavon Echols, 72, of Andalusia, died Thurs., Feb. 21, 2013, in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Sun., Feb. 24, at 2 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Carolina Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Sunday prior to the services.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Debbie and Mark Maraman of Andalusia; his son, Kevin Lavon Echols of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Gus Maraman and Trish Echols; four sisters, Margie Echols of Andalusia, Ruby Jeter of Red Level, Fannie Lou Brown of Baker, Fla., and Esther Ramer of Brooksville, Fla.; and two brothers, W.C. Echols of Andalusia and Le Echols of Mobile.

 

LUCILLE DONALDSON

Lucille Donaldson died at her home Thurs., Feb. 21, 2013.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Foreman Funeral Home.

 

NORMAN ROBINSON

Norman Robinson of Rockwood, Tenn., formerly of Paul, passed away Wed., Feb. 20, 2013.

Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home.

 

JOYCE BOZEMAN BATES

Joyce Bozeman Bates, 76, of Red Level, passed away Tues., Feb. 19, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services were held on Thurs., Feb. 21, at Pigeon Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Brent Cook officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Pigeon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund C/O Audrey Bates.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Enina Bates of Phenix City; her daughters, Dawn and Tim Brawner of Dothan and Hope and Terry Ballew of Red Level; grandchildren, Geoffrey (Chrissy) Bates, Haleigh (Chuck) Golden, Ashton Brawner, Hayden Brawner and Tara (Zack) Butts; and six great-grandchildren, Taylor and Caleb Bates, Caroline, Georgia and Coleman Golden and Brawner Dempsey.
