Mt. Gilead to host 5K, fun run

Mt. Gilead Baptist Church is hosting a 5K run/walk and 1-mile kid color fun run on Sat., March 9.

The run/walk will begin at 8 a.m., and the 1-mile kid color fun run begins at 9 a.m.

Runners and walkers start at the farmer’s market in Andalusia.

Registration forms can be picked up at 3 Notch Emporium and Auction House LLC, or those interested can visit www.colorrun.net.

Live music will be played at the day of the color run.

Moneys raised will be put toward church missions locally and abroad.
