GEORGE F. BOSTON

George F. Boston, 64, of Dozier, passed away March 3, 2013.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., today, Wed., March 20, at his residence at 34225 Odom Road in Dozier.

Survivors include his son, Charles (Laura) Grimes of Dozier; his brother, Joseph Boston of Bethel, Ohio, and Mike Boston of Kentucky; grandson, Donald Grimes of Dozier; and several special friends.

ELENOR JEAN WILLIAMS HUGGHINS JOHNSON

Elenor Jean Hugghins Williams Johnson, 85, formerly of the Red Level area, died in an Auburn nursing home on Fri., March 15, 2013.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Wed., March 20, at Longbranch Cemetery with Bob Brooks officiating the service. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Shad and Lisa Williams of Anniston and Jason and Dawn Williams of Hawaii; her grandchildren, Shad (Laura) Williams of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jordan Tanaka; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Joyce Hugghins of Red Level; eight nieces; nine nephews; and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Johnson, and brothers, Marlin, Thomas, Allison and MacRhee Hugghins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Longbranch Cemetery Fund, in care of the People’s Bank of Red Level, 112 Railroad Street, Red Level, AL 36474.

RUTH WILSON

Ruth Wilson, 82, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., March 18, 2013, in the Andalusia Manor nursing facility.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thurs., March 21, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Walker officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foreman Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, James Wilson of Andalusia; her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Darice Wilson of Augusta, Ga., and Terry and Mia Wilson of Andalusia; her daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and Olin Farris and Brenda Glidewell of Andalusia; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Drake of Thomaston, Ga.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Cobb, Triston Cobb, Derek Glidewell, Shannon Bryant, Bruce Chance and Logan Cobb.

JULIUS IKE BASS

Julius Ike Bass, 66, of the Carolina Community, passed away Mon., March 18, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thurs., March 21, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hunt officiating and interment following in Carolina Cemetery. Visitation will be at Foreman Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Bass of Andalusia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Chris Maraman of Wetumpka, Tammy Bass and Derek Prescott of Opp and Tony and Scott Williams of Demopolis; his sons and daughters-in-law, Waymon Julius Bass, John and Tammy Butts of Andalusia, and Frank and Debbie Butts of Red Level; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Elvira and Charlie Baker of Tallassee and Hazel Huckabaa of Andalusia; and a special friend, Johnny Nichols.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Jean Huckabaa, Christine Smith and Voncile McCart; a brother, James Irvin “Spud” Bass; a son-in-law, Randall Keith Walden; and grandson, Little Mack William Byrd Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jason Walden, Zack Butts, Richard Bass, Adam Butts, Stuart Williams and Curtis Butts.

Douglas Eugene Moore, 69, of Dozier, passed away Sat., March 16, 2013.

Funeral services were held on Tues., March 19, at Andalusia Bible Church with Brothers Tim Morgan and Ed Ganus officiating with interment following in Macedonia Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Moore of Dozier; son and daughter-in-law Gregory Todd Moore (Charlene) of Rose Hill; daughter Shana Dawn Wagnon of Dozier; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Horace Moore (Carolyn) of Fayette and Carl Dewayne Moore (Lisa) of Mobile; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Eugene Moore.

Dorothy Gynell Hardage, 78, of Red Level, passed away Fri., March 15, 2013, in the Andalusia Manor.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Rickey Zellers of Evergreen; her sons, Mike Hardage of Red Level and Tim Hardage of Freeport, Fla.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Joyce Harrell of Andalusia, John and Toni Harrell of Opp and Robert and Joan Harrell, also of Opp; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Fran and Fred McGee of Lillian and Charlotte and Bobby Morgan of Opp.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hardage; and two sons, Steve Hardage and Gary Hardage.

MAMIE H. HORTON

Mamie H. Horton, of Sneads, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Fri., March 15, 2013.

Graveside services were held Mon., March 18, at Stone Lake Cemetery with Brother Andy Riley officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Tony Thompson of Panama City, Fla., and Gina and Billy Green of Gantt; her grandchildren, Chuck and Jennifer Green, Nikki Green Harris, Kevin and Carolyn Findley, and Brent and Kiestia Findley; and her great-grandchildren, Reagan Green, Haley Harris, Austin Green, Piper Findley, and Madison Findley.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

MYRTLE BROOKS “AUNT MUTT” BOYETTE

Myrtle Brooks Boyette, known as “Aunt Mutt,” 95, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., March 16, 2013, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services were held on Tues., March 19, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Harmony Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Ganus officiating.

“Aunt Mutt” retired from Southern Life and Health in Mobile after 37 years of service. She was an active and spirited lady up until her final day.

Survivors include her sister, Hazel Adams of Andalusia; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Brooks of Lake Martin and Elsie (J. T.) Garrett of Crestview, Fla.; a host of nieces and nephews; and her special friends at Savannah Terrace Assisted Living.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D. B. Boyette; brother, Donnie Brooks; and sister, Thelma Davis.

Pallbearers were Scott Hicks, Tindell Adams, Chan Adams, Chris Brownlee, Lannie Brooks and Chad Brooks.

Honorary pallbearers were Neil Hicks, Andrew Adams and Roan Adams.
