LBWCC’s Lady Saints fell in a doubleheader decision to Faulkner State for their final home games of the season.

FSCC went out to a 5-1 lead in game one and came away with a 9-3 win. In game two, the Lady Sun Chiefs strutted to an 18-0 lead in the third inning and won 21-0.

“Faulkner State is a good hitting team and well coached,” LBWCC coach Candace Tucker said.

Right now, the Lady Saints sit at 5-3 in ACCC South, and will travel for the rest of their conference games this season.

“It’s important to win on the road because we didn’t take care of business at home,” Tucker said.

LBWCC falls to 7-27 on the season with the two losses, according to the conference’s website.

The Lady Saints are back in action tomorrow in Mobile for a doubleheader against Bishop State. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m.
