William Daniel Hays, 72, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., April 18, 2013, in the Andalusia hospital after an extended illness.

A private memorial service will be held by the family. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Sonya Dulaney of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Brandy Bonner of Andalusia; brother, Fletcher Barney Hays Jr. of Georgiana; two sisters, Barbara (Victor) Hays Smithers of Ft. Walton and Elizabeth Ann Manning of Prattville; and four step-grandchildren, Michael Jordan, Charlie Jordan, Britlyn Dulaney and Dalton Reynolds
