The Lew Childre Talent Search has been canceled, officials said late Friday.

“The Lew Childre Celebration Committee has unfortunately canceled the Talent Search,” said spokesperson Emilee Gage. “For those of you who have turned in the application, fee and CD, they will be mailed back to you next week. Please keep the talent search in mind for next year, and we hope you are able to attend the Lew Childre Steel Guitar Concert on May. 4.”
