Within a week, the roofs should be on the buildings that will become Saints Hall and house LBW students by August, and the developer who put the project together said he receives housing applications daily.

Kent Campbell of Cubed LLC said that except for a few days of inclimate weather in February, Park Lane Construction’s crews have been moving “at light speed” to get the project completed in time for the fall term.

Students can complete housing applications online at www.saints-hall.com.

“We have a small glitch in that we can’t take payments with the application online yet, but that should be worked out this week,” Campbell said Monday. “I’ve got eight applications on hand and get a couple of more every day.”

The application fee is $55.

Once completed, the two-structure project will house 96 students in 24, four-bedroom apartments. The complex is being built just across the nature trail near the tennis courts.

Cubed LLC partnered with the LBW Community College Foundation for the project.

The apartments are $1,800 per person per semester, which includes furniture, utilities, Internet access, and cable TV. A two-semester lease is required.
