GAYNELL M. FLOURNET

Gaynell M. Fournet, 74, of Andalusia, formerly of New Orleans, passed away April 30, 2013, at her residence in Andalusia.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to St. Vincents dePaul Society of New Orleans or Save A Life of Andalusia.

Survivors include seven nieces and nephews, Karen Davis of Marrero, La., Kevin Fournet of Marrero, La., Richard Fournet Jr. of Houma, La., David Fournet of Layfette, La., Andre` Fournet of New Orleans, Rebecca Fournet of Belle Chasse, La., and Cynthia Perrin of Andalusia; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick G. Fournet and Yula Falgout Fournet; brother and sister-in-law, Richard J. Fournet Sr. and Anita Y. Fournet; and loving nephew, Nicholas Ragas.

JAMES ‘JEFF’ PEACOCK

James “Jeff” Peacock, a former Andalusia resident, passed away in Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., at 2 a.m., on Wed., May 1, 2013.

Funeral services will be held today, Fri., May 3, at Faith Chapel in Pensacola, Fla., at 7 p.m. Interment will be on Mon., May 6, at 11:45 a.m. at Barrancas Military Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

He is survived by his son, Clinton James (Stacia) Peacock of Pensacola, Fla.; his mother, Mary Peacock; his brother, David (Carol) Peacock of Andalusia, five nephews; and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, W.B. “Dub” Peacock.
