Opp’s Orlando Lacy and Makayla Crenshaw will compete in the finals of the Class 3A state track meet today at Memorial Stadium in Selma.

Lacy and Crenshaw, both middle schoolers, did well eno-ugh to claim top seeds in their respective individual events heading into today’s action.

Lacy will finished as the No. 1 seed in the 200-meter, and the No. 2 seed in the 100-meter run.

Crenshaw placed third, running a 22.7-second 200-meter time to qualify for today’s final.

Additionally, JaKeith Edwards placed 20th in the 400-meter relay.

Opp’s girls, who didn’t run the 4×400-meter race Friday, will compete in the finals today.
