April was a big month in the county district attorney’s office for drug offenders. Those entering pleas were:

• Ricky Burgans, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to six years in prison.

• Jeremy Craig Coon, who pleaded to manufacturing of a controlled substance II and was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.

• Mark J. Donaldson, who pleaded to receiving stolen Property I and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Donna M. Frost, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and will enter into Drug Court.

• Trevor J. Howell, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years in prison.

• Steven M. Hunter, who pleaded to chemical endangerment of a child and was sentenced to five years in prison.

• Buddy W. Jones, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• John David Knighten Jr., who pleaded to distribution of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

• Larry V. Larkins, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was given drug court.

• Phillip McKinley, who pleaded to manufacturing of a controlled substance II and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

• Amber Kay Mobley, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and entered drug court.

• Shane D. Nelson, who pleaded to breaking/entering of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to three years probation.

• Quince F. Patterson, who pleaded to manufacturing of a controlled substance II and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Attorney: Larry Grissett

• Courtney Lee Porter, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and entered drug court.

• Laurie Rigdon, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 32 months of probation.

• Michael L. Weaver, who pleaded to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
