ALESHA SASSER

Alesha Sasser, 51, of the Babbie Community, passed away on Mon., May 13, 2013, in a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., today, Thurs., May 16, at Keahey Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Buddy Sasser; son, Jerry Sasser, both of the Babbie Community; daughter, Jamie Clay Chandler of the Harmony Community; and seven grandchildren.

CHARLOTTE LYNN TERRY-WILSON

Charlotte Lynn Terry-Wilson, 44, of Wing, passed away on Sat., May 11, 2013.

Funeral services will be held today, Thurs., May 16, at 2 p.m., at Mount Hermon Assembly of God in Wing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service.

She was born March 29, 1969, in Andalusia, and lived most of her life in Covington County and Baker, Fla. She briefly lived in Indiana before moving back home. She attended school in Pleasant Home and graduated from Baker (Fla.) High School in 1987.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Wilson II; mother, Loretta Bradley; father, Johnny Hughes; stepson, Levi Cole Wilson; daughter, Nickie Brewer; brothers, Travis Hughes and David Hughes; sister, Cherish Hughes; grandmother, Martha McGee; grandchildren, Layne Brewer, Jaela Taylor and Kensleigh Phillips; and her dog, Coco.

WILLIAM DAVID PINCKARD

William David Pinckard, 63, a resident of Brantley, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Fri., May 17, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. William Leverette and the Rev. Timothy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home from 6–8 tonight.

Visitation will also be held at the church 30 minutes prior to services Friday.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Coston and Sybil Chancellor Pinckard, and two brothers, James M. “Mac” Pinckard and Willie Pinckard.

He is survived by five sisters, Cathy Pinckard, Judy Pinckard, Faye (Byron) Hartin, Donna (P.J.) McClung and Cherry (Billy) Armour; two brothers, Snow (Julie) Pinckard and Stephen Pinckard; 16 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and great-nephews; and two special friends, Uncle Will and John C.

Pallbearers will be Andy Kimbro, Lomax Kimbro, Dr. Charles Tompkins, Chris Layton, Tim Folmar, Dwight Layton, Larry Johnson, John Burnett, Stan Haws and Todd Johnson.
