THOMAS LEE BOLAN

Thomas Lee Bolan, born July 7, 1967, passed away May 29, 2013, in Baptist Hospital in Prattville at the age of 45.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas E. and Ela Mae Rabren.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., today, Sat., June 1, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Curtis Thomasson officiating.

He is survived by his two sons, Robert and Tim Valentine; his mother, Sandra (Arthur) Smith; one granddaughter; brother, Owen Bolan Jr.; aunt, Freida (John) Bass; and two cousins, Shaun Morgan and Doug Rabren

BRENDA HALL AUGHTMAN

Brenda Hall Aughtman, 58, of Baker, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013, at home surrounded by family.

She was born in Andalusia on March 28, 1955, and grew up in the Pleasant Home Community.

Brenda worked in floral shops in Andalusia as a young woman and later owned and operated Aughtman Formals in Baker, Fla., and Elegant Gowns in Red Level. She loved making sure all the girls, young ladies and guys felt their absolutely most beautiful in pageants, proms and on their wedding days. She also worked 17 years for the Boll Weevil Eradication program.

She loved spending time with her friends at the river and being with her grandchildren whom she loved so very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Agnes Hall; a brother, Jerry Hall; and a sister, Peggy Hall Stacey.

She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Bobby Elmer Aughtman; two daughters, Karen (Chris) Dubose of Andalusia and Kristy Aughtman of Baker, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kaylee Morrill, Hana Morrill, Trace Morrill and Karis Dubose; brother, Jimmy (Joann) Hall of Luverne; sisters Patsy (Ray) Colvin of Red Level, Dianne (Bob) Smith of Andalusia and Barbara (Autry) Bates of Red Level; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, Fla.
