Donnie Carpenter, 49, of Andalusia, passed away on June 13, 2013, in a local hospital.

A private service was held by Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Dianna Carpenter of Andalusia; mother, Barbara Morris of Oregon; brothers, Gerald Miller Jr. of Mossy Head, Fla, John Powell and Robert Powell, both of Andalusia; and sisters, Sherry Ferris of Defuniak Springs, Fla., Susan McAdams of Oregon and Brenda Paulson.

GLORIA TILLMAN

Gloria Tillman, 70, of the Babbie Communty, passed away Tues., June 18, 2013, in the Opp hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Thurs., June 20, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Jerry Elmore will officiate. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Tillman of the Babbie Community Community; sons, Vaughn (Gloria Langford) Tillman of the Babbie Community, and Kenneth (Donna Walls) Tillman of Opp; sisters, Kathleen (A.J.) Davis of Colombia, Ala., Gladys (Frank) McGuffin of Georgia and Sharon (George) Davidson of Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Cook.
