Covington County Blue beat Butler County 7-5, 6-5 in doubleheader action at Crum Foshee Field at LBWCC on Tuesday night.

The Blue 16-18s baseball team trailed early in the first game, but rallied late for the win.

CC pitcher Rhett Cook, who hadn’t pitched in three years, took the mound in game two for four innings. Hunter Odom took over for the save in the fifth.

Covington County travels to play Brewton tonight. Then, it will finish its week of games on Saturday against Baker, Fla., at LBWCC.
