Lillian Patricia Holley McAdams, 86, of Birmingham, formerly of Florala, died Wed., July 10, 2013, in Birmingham.

REBECCA CHESHIRE

Rebecca Cheshire, 70, of the Yellow River Community, passed away on Mon., July 8, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Fri., July 12, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Taylor and the Rev. John White officiating and interment following in North Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight at the funeral home from 6 to 8.

She was preceded in death by her husband George C. Cheshire; parents Lon and Edna Hart; brothers, William Ferrin Hart and George Mac “Bucky” Hart, all of Florala; her sister, JoAnn Hart Helms; her brother-in-law, David Edward Helms, both of Wetumpka; and nephew, Timothy Allan Hart of Andalusia, Al.

Survivors include herd daughter Rene’ and son-in-law Mark Hall of Florala; husband Drexel Richards of Opp; grandson, Michael (Amanda) Hall of Andalusia; granddaughter Crystal (Brandon) Hall Davis of Florala; great-granddaughter Mallory Rose Hall; great grandsons Owen George Hall and Parker Bryant Hall; nieces, Robin (David) Veasey of Calera, Cecilia Celeste Helms of Wetumpka and Jennifer Clem Hart of Andalusia; nephew, Steven (Jan) McPherson and William Donnell (Enda) Hart, all of California; step-son Dennis (Tonya) Richards of Troy; step-grandchildren, Dylan and Amber Richards of Troy; and special “buddy,” Gwen Coone of Florala.

Shelley Marion Hammonds, 61, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., July 8, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., today, Thurs., July 11, at Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Dwight Underwood officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Hammonds; son, Jason Thompson, both of Andalusia; daughters, Tina Hammonds, Tonya Ziglar and Leslie (Daniel) McGowin, all of Red Level, and Lessie (Scott) Taylor and Gabby (Michael) Worrels, all of Andalusia; brothers, Roger Hammonds, Ronnie Hammonds, Eugene Hammonds and Johnny Hammonds; sisters, Theresa Mosley, Tammy Spann, Debra Coffey and Vicki Huffmaster; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

GARY EDWARD CANNON

Gary Edward Cannon, 61, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., July 7, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services were held on Wed., July 10, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Cannant officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include his sisters, Fae Meeks, Diane Black and Stephanie Theus; nieces and nephews, Felicia (Brad) Cook, Julie Brown and Laroe Brown; nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mary Cannon.

MARREL CLIFTON ‘CLIP’ MOSLEY

Marrel Clifton “Clip” Mosley, 89, of Wildfork, passed away on Tues., July 2, 2013, at his home.

Mosley, a lifelong resident of Monroe County, was a farmer and a World War II veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Mosley and Leta Melton Mosley, and his sister, Evelyn Dunn Blanton.

Survivors include his son, Larry C. (Brenda) Mosley of Loxley; his daughter, Janice Ann (James) Gardner of Andalusia; his wife of 67 years, Mazie Mosley of Loxley; his brother, Edward Nelson Mosley of Pensacola, Fla.; his sisters, Hazel Norris of Wildfork and Earline Baas of Monroeville; five grandchildren, Tim (Suzanne) Mosley of Mobile, Jason (Tracey) Mosley of Loxley, Cheryl (Bob) Fekete of Montgomery, Jennifer (Randy) Bass of Louin, Miss., and Travis Garner of Andalusia; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Fri., July 5, at 11 a.m., at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Knapp and Elder James Gardner officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery in Frisco City with military honors.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Mosley’s caretaker and friend, Louise Bodiford.
