Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gallatin Henry, Jr., of Guntersville, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Josephine, to Harry Benjamin Gay III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Benjamin Gay Jr. of Andalusia, and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Hall Gay.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert G. Henry Sr., of Guntersville and the late, Mr. and Mrs. Jody Evans

of Glencoe.

She graduated from Guntersville High School in 2003 and then earned a bachelor’s degree in international trade from Auburn University. She is employed by Mike’s Merchandise in Auburn and will enter nursing school in the fall.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Gay Sr. of Donalsonville, Ga., the late Rev. and Mrs. Robert Hall of Anniston, Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Tedder of Perry, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Goodwin, of Day, Fla.

He graduated from Andalusia High School in 2003, and then earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University. He is employed as a distribution engineer with Alabama Power Company in Auburn.

The August wedding will be held in Auburn at the Founder’s Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. Invitations will be sent.
