The families of Jessica “Nikki” Nickole Tillery and Jack “Jay” Leland Cox Jr. announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sherry Fisher and Brad and Loretta Kirkland of Opp. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Tillery Jr. and Emma Kirkland and the late David Lamar Kirkland Sr.

She is a 2004 graduate of Opp High School and earned a practical nursing degree from LBW Community College. She is employed with Elba Nursing and Rehab Center LLC.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Leland Cox Jr. of Loango. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cox and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lee.

He is a 2003 graduate of Red Level High School and is currently employed with the Covington County Road Department.

The couple will exchange vows today, Sat., Aug. 17, at Kirkpatrick Park.
