The City of Andalusia needs more players to sign up for fall baseball and softball.

Because of the shortage of participants who have signed up already, the city is extending registration until Fri., Aug. 30.

Those who are interested can register at Johnson Park from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. each day.

Registration fee is $10 and only covers the cost of the jersey.

The age of your child participating is the age he or she will be in the spring season of 2014.

For example, a 6 year old moving up to 7 and 8s in the spring will play fall ball as a 7 year old.

Divisions that are eligible are 8U (7-8), 10U (9-10) and 12U (11-12). The age cut off is May 1, 2014 for baseball, and Dec. 31, 2013 for softball.
